Individual training sessions take place in the comfort of your home, office or a local park. They fit into an overall plan, designed to provide the framework by which you will achieve your results. Every personal training session is structured in advance and develops from previous sessions.

The first session is always an assessment, which sets the baseline for your fitness levels. These assessments will vary depending on your goals, but usually involve flexibility, core strength, movement assessment and heart and lungs, as well as blood pressure and body fat percentage.

By setting these baselines you can easily see how much you improve as the weeks go by and you get closer to achieving your goals.

Nutrition

Whether your goals are weight loss, fitness or sports specific, your nutrition plays a crucial part in ensuring you achieve success. Both the Results Pack and the Rapid Results Pack include a nutritional consultation and advice, with guidance on the best foods to eat and avoid in order to reach your goals as quickly as possible.

Partner and small group training

If you have a one or more friends you wish to train with, this can be a great way to further increase your motivation and reduce the cost of personal training. Whilst you don’t have to be at the same level of fitness, you will need to have similar goals that can be addressed in the sessions.

Bootcamp training

George Anderson also runs Thame Bootcamp, a group training session that meets on Monday and Thursday mornings at 0630 for an hour at a time. These sessions are highly effective and combine strength and core training with and cardiovascular workout.
